Join us for Double Reed Day, a unique opportunity for oboe and bassoon players of all ages and abilities to work with the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Double Reed Faculty, Dr. Flowers and Professor Katz (our NEW bassoon professor).

Enhance your skills, explore new techniques, and connect with fellow double reed enthusiasts in a fun, supportive environment. Various activities will include: performance classes, faculty performance, double reed band rehearsal and performance, and a goofy artsy activity with prize for the winning team!

Pizza will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own lunch if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences.

If participant is a minor, registration must be completed by a Parent/Guardian. Our faculty members have been background checked and have undergone trainings in order to work with youth. The registration fee is waived for a 1-on-1 Lesson Instructor who has a registered student.
